THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

HG Group is currently recruiting experienced NICU ITU-trained Nurses to fulfil urgent staffing requirements in the Ashford and St Peter’s region.

This is an exciting opportunity for qualified neonatal nurses who have completed a Neonatal Intensive Care Course, as this is the specific skill set currently short on every shift.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering expert clinical care to premature and critically ill newborns in a high-dependency and intensive care setting. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to stabilise, treat, and support infants, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse

Neonatal Intensive Care Course certification (essential)

Minimum 6 months experience in a NICU/ITU setting within the past 3 years

Excellent clinical and communication skills

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to work a range of shifts (days, nights, weekends)

Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo one)

Completion of mandatory training (BLS, Manual Handling, Infection Control, Safeguarding, etc.)
